ALL PROCEEDS WILL BE PRESENTED TO DISTRICT 3 VFW ND

Posts in Minot, Williston, New Town, Anamoose, Harvey, Esmond, Harlow, Belcourt, Westhope and Bottineau 

VFW North Dakota District 3 provides support directly to our local Veterans.  many of which are strictly funded by donations only.

• The Emergency relief fund - When disaster strikes for a Veteran (such as a house fire) the fund provides financial help as soon as possible  
• Orville McLaughlin Cancer Fund – Not limited to only veterans - all needs considered
• Voice of Democracy/Patriots Pen Scholarships – scholarships awarded to students based on patriotic essays  
• Day-to-Day operation expenses include a veterans service officer available to veterans at no cost for claims processing help  
• Additional supports: The Veterans Crisis Line. Veterans’ Administration,  Affiliated Veterans Centers and County Veterans Service

Corey Moen – District 3 Commander, is an ND native from the Epping area. He served in the North Dakota Army National Guard after 9/11 and Completed one tour in Iraq as a Combat Engineer. His VFW  service includes being the first Commander for the VFW Post 12169, Williston, Served as the State VFW Commander and Currently VFW Honor Society Department of ND Junior Vice.
